Review Japan Shinkansen & Train Tickets

I booked my ticket from Osaka to Tokyo through Klook and the whole experience was very smooth. No need to print anything — the barcode ticket is all you need.

Go to the main entrance of Shin-Osaka Station, South Gate Building (サウスゲートビルディング). Once you enter, the ticket gates are on your right. Scan your barcode and walk in. It takes no more than 5 minutes to reach the platform — no exaggeration.

Your train details and platform number will appear on the screen in front of you.
My train was Nozomi 372, departing from Platform 25 (shown in the photos).

There’s a designated luggage space between the train cars, which is very convenient. And surprisingly, there were many empty, non-reserved seats available on the train.

I also booked seats on the Mount Fuji side — so I basically hit two birds with one stone: a smooth trip and a great view!

The whole time I was riding & witnessing the shinkansen, it’s unbelievable!This is my first bullet train exp and the whole ride I thought of how brilliant this idea and wondering who had first thought of this idea.Can you imagine,it’s the fastest train in the world & mind you, you do not need to fasten a seat belt yet it’s the fastest,u don’t feel dizzy inside, yes it’s stable you can even walk around,go to toilet/check your luggages.You can even eat a meal or drink, I suggest you bring a food with you.It’s so cool eating in a train with a view.An 8-hour bus ride from Tokyo to Osaka was shortened into 2 hrs & 27 mins with a shinkansen. It’s unbelievable, right? I’d love to ride again perhaps on another perfecture. I have been thinking as well the engr’g works of this, like it happened really. You guys are so brilliant & smart! How I wish we have this in our country. PS: Sit on the ride side of the train if you travel from Tokyo to Osaka, you’ll see the Mt. Fuji. It’s so beautiful!🏔️🚄🇯🇵

I redeem all tickets for Kyoto - Tsuruga - Kanazawa in Kyoto. Once arrived at Tsuruga you can just slot all 4 tickets for Shinkansen transfer. The station was compact and made easy for the Shinkansen transfer. First time riding shinkansen it was such an experience. Big luggage compartment at each car without needing to reserve a spot. Great alternative for shinkansen to and from Tokyo - Kanazawa

Easy booking via Klook with our Shinkansen tickets. We truly love the First Class - Mt.Fuji side of our train seats and truly a good weather traveling from Fukuoka to Tokyo. The best also that we were able to see and film Mt. Fuji ☺️ Thank you Klook 🥰

We actually was planning to go to Takayama via direct bus but unfortunately it was sold out. Lucky for us the train was still available. We took local Ishikawa train line Kanazawa - Toyama to catch the train. Hida Express train was comfortable, big lugggae conpartment, easy to redeem and such a great panoramic train to Takayama

First time using Klook and legendary Shinkansen. Only with QR codes given by Klool app, entered the Tokyo station and easily found the train. Sadly because of poor weather, could not see the Mount Fuji view. Next time then.

took it for the hello kitty Shinkansen! I went through all stations so a trip of 4 hours. The train was great, kawaii and lived up to my expectations. I love the exclusive merch and the seats were comfortable, napping on the hello kitty train was great. If you want the special ekiben you have to buy it at the station!

Good that I booked the shinkansen train from nagoya to tokyo since we travel in December and considered a peak season. Highly recommended to avail the Mt Fuji seat and we enjoyed the view upon seeing the magnificent Mt Fuji alongt the way.

The beautiful Spacia X train, so clean and comfortable. Easy to book on Klook. Nikko was magnificent, temples, shrines and natural beauty. Need a Nikko pass with you at all times along with your train ticket. You can buy this at the Information Centre at Asakusa Railway Station. The information centre gets busy, buy well in advance. Lots of steps, wear comfortable shoes. If you want to visit Kanmangafuchi Abyss (statues red hats and scarfs) it’s a 20 minute walk from the bridge along the road. Get a Central Nikko walking map from the information centre in Nikko as not well signposted and they can be hard to find but well worth it!!

Great experience. Clean, fast, quiet train. Had a window seat and loved the experience on the Shinkansen. Easy to buy tickets thru Klook. No queuing at the station
