Review Hobbiton Movie Set Guided Tour

Great deals with Klook, easy redemption, and value for money. I had a wonderful time at this place. The guided tour was informative and engaging. I really enjoyed seeing the movie set and learning about the scenes.

I made a reservation in advance and reported to the counter with my mobile phone voucher. During the pick-up process, a short video will be played, giving you a welcoming feeling and a sense of excitement that a fantasy world is about to come! The tour guide will lead you to visit the park. Be sure to follow along. Don't stay or wander around at will. Take your time to enjoy the scenery or take photos. If you miss it, you will never look back. The tour guide is all in English, so it doesn’t matter if you don’t understand the introduction, you can still have a lot of fun! The tour guide will also help take photos! The last stop was the pub, where everyone could choose a free drink. I chose the only ginger ale without alcohol. It was a big cup, delicious and filling! I really wanted to sit by the stove and stay for an hour or two, but unfortunately it was only a few minutes (maybe half an hour, or even shorter, I kind of forgot). Free drinks and self-brewed coffee are available. When leaving the park, everyone received a shaped cup as a souvenir. ps: Before entering the park, the tour guide asked if there was anyone who didn’t know why they were standing here. I wanted to raise my hand because I had never even read the relevant movie books. When I originally arranged the itinerary, I even wanted to save some travel expenses. Skip this man-made attraction, but it’s a good thing! The natural scenery is beautiful, and the architectural furnishings and various objects are exquisitely made, as if they were made entirely from nature! Of course, we also take great care in maintaining it! Well worth a visit!

I didnt even need to show my voucher, they had my name on the system for fast transaction to change for physical ticket. It was a beautiful set with guided tour. Very informative and we got to try complimentary beverage. We even got free mug at the end of the tour. Highly recommend 👍🏼

This tour was such a cool behind the scenes look at a large part of the movie set. It was full of photo opportunities and fun facts about the filming. We enjoyed our themed beer at The Green Dragon too!

My favorite place on the entire North Island trip! Habi Village is very cute and exquisite, with many small details. It is very easy to take pictures and takes up a lot of memory. If it rains, there are large dark green umbrellas in the park that you can borrow. The color blends well into the scenery. 🤣 Buffet Lunch Although the food There are not many options, but the chicken and beef are delicious. Unfortunately, the meal time is a bit short. I only had one round. It is recommended to finish the meal the first time you get the food. In addition, a cup from The Green Dragon will be given away. At the beginning of the Waitomo Glowworm Caves, the tour guide will introduce the stalactites along the way. Finally, you will take a boat to see the fireflies in the completely dark cave. The fireflies here are not the flying fireflies you imagined, but like the blue starry sky, sitting on The boat trip won't be long.

Really enjoyed our 2.5 hour tour of Hobbiton despite the rain. We went shortly after they added BEYOND THE DOOR so we were lucky to be amongst the first ones to interact with the contents of a hobbit-hole. Truly appreciate the attention to detail when building the Hobbiton universe. The photos don’t do the experience justice but they give you a reasonably good sense of what is in store for a visitor.

A very unique experience as you can dig into how TLOTR was filmed, like why there are different sizes of houses, is the interior of house accessible.

Habi Village is really super cute! Unbeatable recommendation, the moment you walk in, it seems like you have entered a fairy tale world, and the wine in the Green Dragon bar inside is also very good!

Even in the pouring rain this tour was amazing!! It was a little challenging to hear the guide with a raincoat hood and an unbrella but sacrificing being dry meant the tour guide was easy to hear! Gorgeous property, amazing attention to detail even in the view-only hobbit holes. Our group of 5 ranged from 2.5 years to 60 years and we all adored it!! Would definitely attend again if the opportunity ever arose.

If you are a fan of the Lord of the Rings, you are right to come here. It is the Hobbit village at the beginning and the end of the movie. The tour guide will tell you in detail how to shoot the Hobbit's height, and some little knowledge.
