had a really fun time with shotover jet! it was a little pricey but the views and the experience was pretty good. wish i had my phone w me on the boat because by right, no loose articles allowed but the instructor told us we could take photos while on the boat when it was at a complete stop 😭 the go pro on the boat was also not working that day 😩😔 suggest you guys check at the counter first or before boarding. they do have lockers for you to store your bags before boarding the boat

This is a must-do activity, fun for the whole family! You'll get a little wet, which adds to the excitement. The kids loved the thrilling ride. Most importantly, the scenery is absolutely stunning: green rivers with white rapids, and gray rock formations. The views exceeded our expectations. Our child wanted to go again! The ride itself is quite long, about 7.5 km. The driver was also excellent, stopping periodically to explain things.

It's fun and exciting, more exciting than rafting. The speedboat shuttles through the canyon at a high speed, which is really special, and the scenery along the way is beautiful. There is a shuttle bus from Queenstown, which is very convenient. Although it rained again in autumn, it didn't feel cold at all.

amazing experience, but all of NZ is naturally beautiful. the guides were well trained and helped to watch out for our safety while making this an interesting experience. I thought that more time could be given to explaining the history of the river.

Very fun experience! Just the right amount of thrill with very scenic views! Even in summer, do layer up as it gets pretty chilly travelling at such high speeds! Would be better if they offered professional videos or photos for keepsake!

The famous spins had us screaming and laughing the whole time 😆 Definitely one of the highlights of our Queenstown trip. A must-try if you love adventure! ✨
