Review Sun World Hon Thom Ticket

It was a wonderful experience at Sun World Hon Thom Nature Park. Buying tickets online saved us from the long lines. The view from the cable car was stunning. My kids (ages 3 and 6) and we had a great time at the water park. There are many dining options within the park, so it isn’t necessary to purchase the buffet package.

This is the longest cable car above the sea in the world. Although I don't like cable cars, because I'm afraid of heights, I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. The cabins are large and comfortable, you don't feel scared. The ride to the island takes about 25 minutes and is truly magical. The views are wonderful! The ticket is about 30 euros, and it includes a visit to the amusement park, a free soda, and entry to the Kiss bridge. Be sure to go on the cable car because if you miss it, it's like you weren't on Phu Quoc. Expect crowds, but everything is well organized and goes quickly. My recommendation is to first take a boat trip to one of the nearby islands. That way you'll experience the cable car from a different perspective and see how big it is. Then one of the next days, go on the cable car itself. The big minus for me is that there are no buses from Doung Dong, the island's capital, to the cable car. You'll have to take a taxi or a moto taxi.

Booking with Klook is quick, easy, and tickets are ready for immediate use. Simply scan the QR code on your app voucher for entry. The package includes Sun World Nature Park Cable Car + Aquatopia Water Park + Exotica Park. We boarded the cable car at 10 am (20-minute ride). Once on the island, I first went to Exotica Park to enjoy the thrilling wooden roller coaster and the 360-degree rotating viewing tower, with no queues at all. After that, we had lunch at SUN BUNS, and then spent the afternoon at the water park, leisurely enjoying ourselves for most of the day. We headed back around 3:30 pm and only then remembered we had free drink vouchers! We immediately got a beer/watermelon juice, which was so refreshing! Also, there were many snacks available on the island, which we also tried.

If you're staying in the southern part of Phu Quoc, you should definitely visit this place! The cable car ride itself, which is about 8km long and listed in the Guinness World Records, is worth the money. Plus, you can enjoy all the attractions and water activities for free! Of course, bringing your swimsuit and towel is essential. We didn't bring a towel, so we couldn't shower, but honestly, we dried quickly, so changing clothes and returning wasn't a problem at all. There are no shower amenities in the showers, and the water doesn't drain well because many people use them at the same time, so keep that in mind. Be sure to ride the roller coaster! There's still a lot of construction going on around the area, so it's a bit chaotic, but it's not a problem at all to enjoy yourself. I planned this schedule abruptly on a recommendation, and I was able to purchase tickets on Klook for cheaper than buying them at the hotel! The QR code is sent immediately after purchase, so it's convenient because you can buy tickets on the same day. You can get a free watermelon juice or beer, but the locations where it's available vary depending on the menu, so ask first before you go. I went without thinking at first, and it was so hot getting around! ^^ Watermelon juice is available at the cafe.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. If you’re planning to visit Sun World Hon Thom Nature Park on Hòn Thơm Island, I’d recommend arriving early so you have enough time to enjoy the water park, rides, and the roller coaster without rushing.

There’s a buffet restaurant on the island, Mango Restaurant, which also offers vegetarian options—though the choices are fairly limited (mainly fruit juices and salads). Note that the buffet is not included in the park ticket.

Getting to the island is part of the experience itself. You’ll take a scenic cable car ride on the Hon Thom Cable Car, which lasts about 15–20 minutes and offers stunning views of the ocean.

One important tip: wear zipper-free swimwear, as some rides don’t allow clothing with zippers.

Using the QR code, you can directly ride the cable car, redeem drinks, and go to Kiss Bridge—very convenient. Sun World Hon Thom Nature Park is definitely one of Phu Quoc's must-visit attractions. The cable car ride is very long, with beautiful coastal scenery along the way. The water park has many fun facilities, and many don't require queuing, so you can enjoy yourself to the fullest. However, renting a locker requires an extra fee. Showering only has cold water, and no toiletries or hair dryers are provided. Some of the shower facilities are also damaged, so overall, there's room for improvement. The drink options are limited to beer and watermelon juice. It would be better if there were more choices. Kiss Bridge is a very romantic spot, perfect for enjoying the scenery and taking photos with your sweetheart.

This is a great value ticket that includes a round-trip cable car ride, access to Hon Thom Island attractions, a drink, and admission to Kiss Bridge! The description says to redeem the drink ticket at the theme park ticket counter, but you can get your drink by going directly to participating stores. Some stores only had beer, and some only had canned beer. We went to a store that only had canned beer, so I recommend checking what drinks are available at the drink counter before redeeming your ticket. The photo is of the Phu Quoc-themed canned beer we redeemed. The banh xeo and banh mi were filling but we devoured them quickly. They were delicious. The water park is very strict about wearing jewelry or hanging phones around your neck; you have to remove them to play. The cable car is constantly moving, so it would be good if they had people line up in front of the chain beforehand according to the number of people that can ride. Instead, they rush to board after the cable car arrives, call for the missing number of people from the back, and force them to run and board, which I thought was a bit dangerous. I hope this will be improved in the future. Admission to Kiss Bridge is listed as being available until 6:30 PM and from 8:15 PM to 9:30 PM, but you can't enter during the show and can only go as far as the restaurant in front. You can go to Kiss Bridge after 9:30 PM. The last free shuttle bus departs at 10:00 PM, so if you use the shuttle bus, you can only go to the restaurant, but going to Kiss Bridge is difficult time-wise. You can use a taxi or Grab without any problems.

I used it on December 29th at the end of the year. It was a great deal and I was very satisfied. After getting off the cable car, I first used the drink ticket to get a mug of craft beer, and then went to the water park. I had to wait in line a bit to rent a locker. As for the water park, the two-person and four-person sliders on one board had a decent line, but the others didn't have much of a line. The screaming系 sliders come up before you can mentally prepare (laughs). There are some sliders that you can't use if your swimsuit has zippers or metal fittings. Each person is carefully checked. Even if you've been waiting in line for a long time and it's finally your turn, you'll be sent back without mercy if you fail the check at the very end, so be careful. If you're not taking pictures, you should leave your phone in the locker. Overall, there are many screaming系 attractions, but there is also a children's area and a lazy river, so families can enjoy it. For the roller coaster, you have to leave your luggage, including your phone and glasses, in a locker. The face recognition lockers are free to use, and the staff will show you how to use them. It was difficult to have the staff read the QR code on my phone and then put my phone back in the locker, so people who ride the roller coaster might want to print out the QR code. I also rode the observation attraction. You can get a good view of the scenery, including the area under development. There is a long line to get on the cable car back, so if you have other plans, you should leave early. The Kiss of the Sea show has a long line to get in. There were two entrances, but it was hard to understand how the lines were organized. I think the show is perfectly fine even from the back seats far away.

Visiting the Sun World was a wonderful experience, made even more wonderful by the ease of booking on Klook. The shows that took place were out of the world, especially SYMPHONY OF THE SEA!! It’s a must watch! 🤩
