my kids loved park, huge variety of animals and the park was big. we could not finish walking the whole park. just went for the main attractions. surprisingly the food at the theme park was good as well. spent the whole day there.

Probably the best and well-rounded zoo ever, with so many amazing experiences to explore from rainforest, marine life, Amazon and safari, there’s something for everyone to see and have a great time. Definitely need a whole day to truly experience it all, with cable car ride and safari ride directly into and up close to the animals! Be prepared for some walking as the park is huge, but rest assured that every zones there’s food, snacks and souvenirs shops.

One of the best zoos I had even been. Enjoyed myself thoroughly. We took a Didi to the North Gate and had wanted to take the tram ride but as the queue was very long, we went for the cable car first which didn't have a queue at that time. It was quite an enjoyable ride. Thereafter we went for the tram ride as the queue had eased off somewhat. It was definitely the highlight of the visit, seeing so many types of animals roaming freely and up close.
The Chimelong Safari Park is a very huge zoo and it invovles a lot of walking. But the whole place is well kept with good signposting everywhere and the weather was nice and cooling around 15degress, making it an enjoyable stroll. Spent about 3 and half hour there. The tickets cover the cable car and trams ride. Seniors above 60 pay half price.
A must visit when in Guangzhou for holiday.

One could easily spend a full day at the safari because it is huge! The ticket includes both the tram ride as well as the cable car. The tram ride brings you up close with animals such as giraffes, zebras. The cable car has a circle line which brings you back to the station you board. There are also lines that allow you to alight at different stops. English signages are available to show which direction to take. Each of the zones have a signature animal such as the panda village, elephant park, predators zone. The highlight was seeing the baby panda Meizhu and its mum Meng Meng. There are also many eateries spread around the park and prices are between 78-98rmb for a set. Definitely worth a visit even for adults and allow enough time to see all the exhibits.

It's excellent! There are so many animals, all plump and healthy, constantly parading around. It's not just a zoo; there are also various rides and attractions. You can walk around to see the animals, take a train for a close-up view, or ride a cable car to observe them. It's truly wonderful!

A very nice dayout with the kids. Love the safari on wheels and you feel the Asian typenof wildlife exposure. Cable car ride is also enjoyable. Pandas were all upclosed. There were mini rides at panda area which entice the kids. All these are included in the ticket price which is worthwhile.
