Purchasing a skip-the-line ticket saved us from a long wait under the scorching sun, and the entry process was very smooth. Upon entering the main hall, the colossal dome immediately captivates you, and the magnificent space makes you marvel at the architectural prowess of ancient civilizations. The mottled and exquisite mosaic frescoes, though aged, remain stunning, showcasing the fusion of two cultures and creating a profound historical atmosphere. Standing within the sanctuary, watching the light and shadows slowly fall upon the walls, fills one with deep emotion. The building's exterior is grand and imposing, facing the Blue Mosque across the way. The entire visit felt profound, with every detail narrating a thousand years of history. Visiting Hagia Sophia was the main purpose of this trip. It was a shame that both the exterior and interior were under renovation. Nevertheless, it was truly wonderful to experience the profound historical significance of this cultural heritage site, with its frescoes and even graffiti from when it was used as a mosque after being an Orthodox church, all preserved as they were. Although there's a mobile Japanese audio guide, I had to infer a lot because many parts of the AI voice's Japanese were incomprehensible. The speaking speed was also slow, so I set it to 1.5x speed, which made it sound normal. Still, I believe you can't talk about sightseeing in Istanbul without seeing Hagia Sophia. I'm glad I went.

An attraction you can not miss when visiting Istanbul. No lines as long as you come before 9am. After that, the lines to enter become quite long. Girls need to wear shawls or cover their hair so keep this in mind before going to Hahia Sophia. All in all, it was a great experience. Super easy to book on Klook and just showed the QR code to enter.

very beautiful muay visit place..klook made it perfectly skipping lines and we enjoyed our visit with our kids alot. the only thing we didn't like was that we were told by the lady at the entrance we can't visit downstairs Mosque but we got to know later from a guide that we can say we want to pray and they will allow us to visit.

ease of booking on Klook: the title might be misleading, it is not “skip the line” ticket, it is just a ticket. security told us with these tickets you can SKIP the ticket waiting line, not actual line to entrance. but anyway it was fast to get in

If you're wearing revealing clothes like short sleeves and shorts, you'll be forced to buy a tacky raincoat-like garment, so you should think about what you wear! Also, women need to cover their hair! If you've come all the way to Turkey, I recommend buying something you like at the Grand Bazaar! Price: It's cheaper to scan the QR code on-site than to book here!!! (Maybe that's the official way? 🤔) But I don't think the QR code is available until you get near the entrance, so if you're in Istanbul the day before you go to Hagia Sophia, it might be a good idea to take a walk and scan the QR code!!
