Taking the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High-Speed Rail allows you to travel from Guangzhou to Hong Kong West Kowloon in under an hour, making it a convenient and fast transportation option. However, the fare is a bit expensive at over 200 yuan. It is especially important to note that mainland high-speed rail prohibits carrying alcohol exceeding 100ml, and mosquito repellent also contains alcohol, so you cannot carry more than 100ml of it. However, Hong Kong security does not have this restriction; only Guangzhou does.

An easy way to go to Guangzhou, comfortable seat and clean. It takes an hour to reach there but if you have a big luggage, need to place it at the last seat.

It's super convenient to book high-speed rail tickets on Klook! A friendly reminder though: things have changed. Instead of physical tickets, you now use your Mainland Travel Permit (回鄉證) to scan in and out at the gates. So, before booking, register your Mainland Travel Permit details in the app. This way, the information will be automatically entered when you make your reservation, and you can use your permit to directly access the gates.
