The basket boat ride through the coconut forest was a unique and enjoyable experience. Our boat rower was friendly and funny! They know alot of Filipino words and even showed some fun spinning tricks with the boat, which made the ride more entertaining.
After the ride, we were served a fresh coconut drink, which was very refreshing—especially after being out in the sun. It was the perfect way to cool down and relax after the activity.

Such a fun and memorable experience! The basket boat ride through the coconut forest was beautiful and very unique. The highlight was definitely the spinning boat performance – super exciting and fun!
Our boat guide was friendly, helped to take photos for us, and the package included a free coconut drink, which was very refreshing in the heat. The whole experience felt lively and entertaining.
They also offer a photo session service if you’d like to purchase professional photos. Along the way, there are karaoke pit stops where you can enjoy the atmosphere and give tips if you wish (completely optional).
Tip: Try to go early around 8am because it gets very hot by 9 or 10am. April is especially hot season, with no rain and barely any clouds, so the sun can be quite strong. Going earlier makes the experience much more comfortable and enjoyable.
Highly recommend if you’re visiting Hoi An and want something different and fun!

We took the boat ride around 3:00 PM, which turned out to be the perfect time—the heat had died down, making the experience very comfortable. The ride itself was both interesting and fun. There were many boats and the boatmen were so energetic, shouting and chanting with enthusiasm while they rowed. It’s a unique, high-energy experience that I highly recommend.

incredibly fun experience! It was so easy to redeem, just arrive at the location, show them the voucher and you’re good to go. My rower was so much fun!!! I didn’t catch his name but he took such great photos of me and made the entire experience super fun. I suggest arriving early between 8:30-9:30, so it’s not too crowded and not as hot.

However, it's important to know where and who to meet to show it to. I used Google Maps from my accommodation and asked people who 'Mrs. Han' was, and they directed me to the location. There are many people operating the basket boats. The sun reflects off the water, so be mindful of sunscreen. Also, if you're traveling with companions, definitely don't buy the cheap coupons; instead, get the more expensive ones that include transportation. If you're confident in your English or have a lot of experience traveling abroad, you can buy the cheaper option and enjoy your own personalized trip. The people who take photos and those who spin the basket boats charge a small fee on-site.

The boat tour itself was great; I really enjoyed slowly gliding through the coconut grove ecosystem. The downside is that the summer sun is incredibly strong. Although the auntie provided umbrellas for shade, it was still hot and windy with intense sun. If you go in the summer, I recommend wearing full physical sun protection. Afterward, you can drink coconut water and ask the staff to crack open the coconut so you can eat the flesh. Sitting in the shade, drinking the cold water, eating the fruit, and watching the coconut boats is truly wonderful. Highly recommend!
