Explore Cappadocia's sprawling and otherworldly landscapes by foot and drop by different historical locations as well. Kick off your tour with a convenient pick up service from your hotel, then it's off to the Derinkuyu Underground City, the biggest one in all of Turkey and the deepest found in Cappadocia. This natural wonder is carved 18 storeys deep into the ground and still stable for centuries and centuries.
Then, head to Ihlara Valley, a popular area to hike around, where you can see Byzantine cave churches and other peculiar formations. The hike is about four kilometers long and will be beside the Melendiz River. I had a really satisfying experience overall. Our guide, Eda, was very kind and gave us helpful explanations throughout the tour.
The tour was well-organized and offered great value for money. We visited Göreme Panorama, Derinkuyu Underground City, Selime Monastery, Ihlara Valley, and Pigeon Valley. At each stop, Eda gave us a brief explanation and then allowed us enough free time to look around at our own pace.
We had lunch before moving to Ihlara Valley, and there were various main dish options, including fish, meatballs, chicken, beef, mushroom, and vegetarian choices. The Ihlara Valley hike was a bit hot even in June, but we were able to rest in the shade and enjoy it comfortably.
The hotel pickup was right on time at 9:30 a.m., and we returned to the hotel around 4:30 p.m. There were only five people in the tour group including me, so the schedule went smoothly without any delays.
Overall, it was a well-paced, efficient, and enjoyable tour. I would definitely recommend it!

This tour was extremely satisfying. Our guide, EDA, was also very good at explaining things. We had enough time at each spot we visited, allowing us to thoroughly explore everything. There's about an hour-long trekking course in the latter half, which was more substantial than I expected, and the moderate exertion felt good. It's definitely a good idea to bring water. The day I participated was hot and sunny, so my water ran out quickly. I had considered the Red Course, but since I was able to navigate the Red Course on my own, I'm glad I chose this Green Tour to visit the outskirts.

really nice tour with different sights - rock formations, lake and the underground city was most interesting but can be physically tiring as you have to bend down to walk in the narrow tunnels. the hike was also a bit tiring as we were there in hot sun during summer period
