This time I joined a Chinese-language aurora chasing tour. Our guide, Wendy, was incredibly helpful and explained the aurora phenomenon very well. I highly recommend their tour. We were also very lucky; despite the generally cloudy weather, we still managed to see the aurora borealis and a sky full of stars. It was a wonderful and fortunate experience. Thank you for the tour!

The team leader was James, a great Taiwanese guy who speaks Mandarin 🥳 / GiGi (studied in Japan and speaks Japanese) / I'm so sorry. There was also someone who was great at taking photos, but I forgot their name 🤣. The sausages were refrigerated, so don't put them too close to the fire; they can be grilled a little longer.

A fantastic trip to Aurora

Tour leaders James, Jiji, and Anna were all very enthusiastic and provided excellent service. James speaks Chinese, so the trip was very reassuring as there was no language barrier. Grilling food around the campfire was also a lot of fun. Most importantly, we were so lucky to catch the aurora on our first trip! I'll definitely choose KKDay again for my next one-day tour.

I traveled solo to Finland with the goal of seeing the Northern Lights, but the weather wasn't great and I couldn't see them. However, I had a great time at the barbecue, grilling sausages and eating them in bread, and roasting marshmallows! I'd like to come back someday! Thank you!

Although we didn't see the aurora, the light rain outside didn't affect our view in the tent. The temperature felt warm inside, surrounded by the fireplace. Jeffrey prepared plum juice, fish soup, sausage, rye bread, marshmallows, and gingerbread, making for a hearty late-night snack. A thicker fish soup would have been better. The sausage was delicious, likely handmade. He suggested sandwiching it with rye bread for added convenience. The marshmallows were a bit sweet, but as he suggested, sandwiching them between two pieces of gingerbread was delicious. Our original 6:00 schedule was rescheduled to 9:30, and we left camp at 12:30, feeling quite sleepy.

This service is very good, with round-trip pick-up from the hotel. In addition, the tour guides are also very nice and will carefully teach you how to take pictures of the aurora with your mobile phone! We were lucky to have clear weather that day so we saw the aurora borealis explosion! The food is also very delicious, and the sausages are particularly fragrant, probably because the weather is very cold and they are grilled over wood fire, hahaha! All in all, it's really a 10-point recommendation.
