We bought the Moorish Castle online on kkday after visiting the Pat Palace. It only takes 6-7 minutes to walk from Petr Palace to the Moorish Castle, which is very close. Buying tickets online is cheaper than buying tickets on the spot. It is highly recommended to visit this place. But those who are afraid of heights or have weak leg strength should think twice.

We visited this place together with Pena Palace. The Moorish walls seen from below were already a highlight, but when we climbed the many stairs and slopes to reach the top, we were able to see the whole city of Sintra, the surrounding walls and Pena Palace, which was very impressive. There was a strong wind near the top that seemed to blow us away, but the combination of the natural boulders and the man-made walls is unique and a sight that you won't see very often anywhere else. I'm glad we visited.
