Visiting "Ancient Egypt Unveiled" at the Hong Kong Palace Museum was a phenomenal highlight of my recent trip! It's very convenient. You can enter by scanning the QR code from your Klook order, avoiding the sun and heat of waiting in line to buy tickets. The process is: you scan the QR code once at the main entrance, then take the elevator or escalator to the 4th floor and scan the code again to enter Exhibition Hall 9. This is because you can only enter Hall 9 once; once you exit, you cannot re-enter. It takes about two hours to go through all of Hall 9. It's amazing to see such beautiful craftsmanship from 3,000 years ago without having to fly to Egypt – definitely don't miss it. If you have time, also visit Exhibition Hall 1 to see the Forbidden City treasures; they are also very beautiful.

I actually wanted to take my kids to visit the Egypt exhibition at the Hong Kong Palace Museum last October, but I saw in the news that it was too crowded, so I kept looking for a weekday when the kids didn't have school. It ended up being almost the end of summer vacation before I finally got around to buying tickets on Klook. The Egypt exhibition closes on August 31st, so luckily we made it in time. Buying tickets on Klook not only offered a discount, but using the electronic QR code for entry was also very convenient, as we didn't have to queue to buy or collect tickets. We bought tickets for 2 PM to 6 PM, and fortunately, we arrived early (around 1:45 PM). As a result, we were able to enter early at 1:45 PM without waiting in line. Initially, the crowd wasn't too bad, and we could get close to the exhibits and take photos after a short wait in Hall 9. However, it gradually got more crowded, and the waiting times became longer. Nevertheless, having the opportunity to admire ancient Egyptian artifacts from thousands of years ago up close was absolutely worth it! By the time we left Hall 9, there was already a long queue outside, so if you're planning to go, be sure to arrive as early as possible to avoid the crowds.

One of the reasons we wanted to go here was because of the temporary Egypt Exhibition and it was worth the ticket and more! There were so many artifacts and even the other galleries were very interesting and it was so impressive to see the craftsmanship. The museum is also very pretty in of itself and the view of the Harbour is beautiful.

There is free electric car go to Palace Museum from M+. Able to use QR code and directly go in. You can spend at least 3hours inside. Have eating places inside too. Souvenir store is nice. walking to kowloon mtr station around 10 to 15mins.

Beautiful building, location was easy to access by car though the carpark was a bit small. We bought the standard ticket was able to see beaurtiful Chinese history. I’m especially fond of the Chinese textiles spent a long time looking at the historical robes.

Once inside, there are some high-end restaurants and a Starbucks where you can buy a small selection of drinks and food. You can't bring water in because you have to go through a security check before entering, but you can bring an empty bottle to fill up at certain locations! The Egypt exhibit (Hall 9) runs until the end of August (it takes about two hours to go through, with some text explanations; I didn't read all of them). There are also different exhibits on other floors, which are quite good and worth seeing. If you want to see all the exhibits, it would take at least 5 hours.

Booking tickets in advance on Klook allowed us to simply scan the QR code upon arrival at the venue for entry, which was incredibly convenient and smooth. This ancient Egyptian civilization exhibition was truly worth the ticket price. Not only could we see over a hundred exhibits with our own eyes, but the venue also featured a short film introducing Tutankhamun's tomb, which was truly eye-opening! Overall, this exhibition was very engaging and deepened my interest and knowledge of ancient Egyptian civilization. After exploring the exhibition, you can visit the shop next to the exhibition hall to purchase various interesting merchandise as souvenirs. Additionally, the museum's restaurant offers an Egyptian-themed menu for everyone to enjoy.

The Egypt exhibition is definitely worth seeing! We purchased tickets for the 4:15 PM guided tour. After entering, a museum staff member informed us to register in the main lobby at 4:00 PM by simply showing our admission QR code. Afterward, the tour guide distributed headphones to everyone, which was very thoughtful and made it easy for them to explain things to us in the exhibition hall. The guided tour was only 45 minutes long, and the guide shared many stories about Egypt as we walked, which was incredibly helpful for understanding Egyptian culture. Additionally, there are other exhibition halls within the museum that are also well worth visiting.

You don't have to go to Egypt to see these precious artifacts. The colors of the 3,000-year-old stone carvings are still so vibrant. As soon as I entered Exhibition Hall 9, I saw that giant statue with a surface as smooth as a mirror. How advanced was their polishing technology back then? It was absolutely astonishing! The design and craftsmanship of the jewelry are still considered top-notch even today! It's hard to imagine they were made by people 3,000 years ago. How much manpower and resources were used to build these pyramid tombs? It's truly breathtaking! It took a full two hours to walk through Hall 9. With two hours left, I recommend going to Hall 1 first to see the Forbidden City treasures exhibition; it's definitely worth a visit. I didn't get the doll I wanted from the blind box, but it doesn't matter; seeing the artifacts alone was well worth the price of admission.
