Today's Mekong Delta day trip was absolutely worth it! Our guide, Lili, was lovely and energetic, with a fun and engaging way of explaining things, and she helped us experience the local culture. The itinerary was packed with activities, from enjoying fruit and performances on Unicorn Island to visiting a coconut candy factory, plus cycling and experiencing three different types of boats – all new and interesting. Lunch was delicious, and the final visit to Vinh Trang Temple was also very unique. The whole trip was relaxed and enjoyable, and we got so much out of it. Highly recommended!

Our tour guide Anna was a pleasant girl. She speaks clear English. They will pick the guests up from their respective hotels. We were the first ones to be fetched by them. The tour guide was very punctual. By 730, the tour guide was already at the lobby waiting for us. She asked the reception to call us. Then, the bus will drive around to nearby hotels to fetch other guests. The journey to My Tho was roughly 1 hour 20 minutes. We reached our first destination at around 10AM which was a temple. Then, we proceeded to the Boat terminal to board a big boat to reach an island. The first stop was to have tea and some local fruits while some local girls performed a singing performance to us. Then, we proceeded to take a sampan boat ride through the narrow Mekong river path where our big boat was waiting for us. Each boat can carry 4 passengers. Then, we headed to a coconut candy factory to learn the process of making coconut candy. Lastly, we had lunch at a nearby restaurant and left at 2.

Super nice trip! Unfortunately, it rained the whole time after visiting the temple, but that didn't affect the tour at all :) we all bought a rain cape and continued: D Our tour guide Gin was super friendly, funny and shared a lot of knowledge with us. The boat tours were very special. Our highlight was a small bike tour before the very delicious lunch. The price-performance ratio is simply top notch 👍🏻

Our Mekong Delta trip was great and fun! Heidi, our tour guide, was proactive and funny. She offered fun facts and a bit of history of the area without being boring. She went biking with us (yey!) even when other groups cancelled that part because it rained. Thankfully, it stopped and she led us around the neighborhood. Lunch was good. We were able to follow all the itinerary without feeling rushed. Overall, it was a day well spent. Would love to come back and explored more of Mekong Delta area.

Although I was traveling alone, I was grouped with a cheerful family and had a great time. The boat ride down the river was particularly enjoyable. A delicious lunch is included, but drinks are an additional charge. If you want to buy souvenirs like coconut candy, please exchange currency beforehand and bring cash. I went without exchanging any money, so I couldn't buy anything. I was barely able to buy a drink with US dollars, but it was understandably more expensive that way.
