The Vatican Museums were absolutely stunning, and seeing the Sistine Chapel in person was surreal. very nice museum , please plan to stay for at least 3 hours otherwise if you are rushing it's not very fun. Remember to collect your tickets first from the tour station across the Vatican museums. Not allowed to take some pictures in the Sistine Chapel but other places are okay.

After gathering at the designated location, the tour guide will lead the tour. I greatly appreciated the explanation of the Creation and Last Judgment frescoes, which was very detailed and full of interesting points, allowing me, on my second visit, to understand more and to appreciate the artwork from a different perspective. Aside from the tour group, there were a lot of visitors, but the tour guide still took the time to stop and introduce everything one by one. At the end, I stayed behind to ask the tour guide some questions, and I received very good advice.

Remember to download the tour app on your phone and bring headphones. The museum has many exhibition halls with very rich and amazing exhibits. There is also a food and coffee shop. I suggest setting aside half a day to a full day for browsing. Highly recommended!

We were able to enter exactly at 8:30 as booked. This is my first time back to the Vatican Museums in 34 years, and while I don't really remember what it looked like before, I really enjoyed seeing Renaissance masterpieces such as the Pietà, The School of Athens, and The Creation of Adam.

1) Buying tickets in advance really eliminates the hassle of queuing. Although there were still a lot of people there, at least not having to queue to buy tickets was very convenient. 2) Our session was at 16:30. When we arrived half an hour early, the staff wouldn't let us enter the security check early. So even if the official website says to arrive early, just take it as a suggestion, as you still need to arrive at the scheduled time to be allowed in. 3) I recommend allocating 4 hours for this trip, because the museum is really big and there are a lot of things to see, so be sure to allow enough time!

Vatican City is a religious country with a very rich museum collection. Even without renting a separate tour guide, you can easily spend more than three hours walking around and looking at everything, and you'll be amazed by the artwork on every ceiling and around the walls!!!!
