Absolutely in awe of the Palace ! As a lover of French History this was AMAZING and can’t wait to come back and do it again. Make sure you book an early time slot , you will be there at least 3 hours. And go early to book a golf cart to scoot around the gardens, it’s massive !

it was an interesting day knowing the history of the French royalties during that time. Al thought the entrance to the garden is not included in here we bought a separate ticket there. Yet still an good experience going inside the Versailles with our very nice and patient tour guide.

The Grand Canal was another highlight, offering a peaceful spot to sit and admire the palace from afar. Renting a small boat is an optional extra, but even without it, the view was breathtaking.

The grandeur is not something you can prepare yourself for! It was an amazing experience and I’ll be sure to come back in spring/summer just to explore the grounds better by bicycle. Tip - book the 9.30am slot instead of the 9am to avoid the gigantic queue and go to Angelina’s as soon as it opens for exclusive Versailles cakes.

The Palace was truly amazing. It was very grand inside, with many rooms to explore. There were many things to read about the palace. The Hall of Mirrors was simply extravagant, filled with mirrors and chandeliers. It was just grand. The Versailles Gardens are also just outside, which are lovely and huge. I highly recommend it.
