Mutianyu Great Wall is one of the best preserved and best known sections of the Great Wall of China. This section of the wall is what most people usually think of when they hear the name of this iconic structure. It had been masterfully restored to recover the essence of the dynasty from when it was built. Depart from Beijing and head to Mutianyu with the company of an English-speaking guide and enjoy three glorious hours of sightseeing, walking down the wall and between the tightly spaced watchtowers. Flower is a very patient and good tour guide n give very detail explanation of both East n West Side of Mutianyu. Spend abt 1hr 15min on East Side fr Tower 6 to 4 and back to Tower 6 (including chairlift up, queue were less at ard 9.30am weekday n toboggan down), 2hr 30min on the West Side up n down fr Tower 14 to 20 back to Tower 14 (each way abt 53min including alot of photos taking), cable car oni 3-4min max. And back to restaurant for 30min lunch just in time b4 depart at 2pm+.

amazing tour, efficient and and well planned and the views of the Great Wall are spectacular it really helps being early to get those views without too many people. my tour guide was Micheal and he was friendly and helpful would definitely recommend.

me and my husband had a great time. the wall was beautiful. flower was our guide. she was very helpful and really went above and beyond to make sure we got all the correct information. even called our hotel to check in with us. it’s a self guided tour once you arrive. so you can go around as you please. the pickup is so convenient. we opted for the lunch option, but i wouldn’t recommend because it’s set food(we don’t like orange sauce flavor chicken) you don’t get options. instead order lunch at the restaurant on your own. would recommend both the cable car and toboggan! everything was so fun! we arrived very early so we beat the crowds. I would definitely recommend to book! Thank you flower for being so kind 🖤

His explanations in both Chinese and English were fluent and easy to understand, and all the information he provided was clear. We had an amazing experience visiting the Great Wall of China with our guide, Richard. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire tour enjoyable. Car was comfortable and clean. He recommended we leave heaps earlier to get to Great Wall to escape the crowds and it was the best idea. He shared fascinating history, answered all our questions, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide!

The tour was excellent. Our guide, Michael, explained everything clearly. We chose the option with the cable car and toboggan. However, if you want to walk the entire section, you'll need to purchase an additional cable car ticket for the other part of the wall. The total time spent walking on the wall was 3 hours. For those who wish to descend by toboggan, you need to arrive at the exit early, as the line is long.

This plan is perfect, the guide gives the option of paying an additional one to go to the top by cable car, but in my view it is not necessary, with the initial plan they offer from the chairs and going down the slide is enough, and there are better views in that part.
