beware of puffing billy puffing ashes that land all over your body 😂 everyone wants to sit at the left for better view. do queue early to get on the left side. one hour journey to lakeside, one hour at lakeside, and another hour back to Belgrave. many tour groups are doing only one way, which is more than enough to experience it.

We joined the Wine Hop and Coastal Tour on 23 June, visiting the Dandenong Ranges, Emerald Lake Park, Sherbrooke Forest, Healesville Sanctuary, the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie, Menzies Creek, and Puffing Billy.
Lorraine was friendly, organised, knowledgeable, and kept the day running smoothly. Thanks to her excellent time management, we boarded Puffing Billy on time without any stress. Her recommendations at Healesville Sanctuary, especially the bird show, the marsupials, and the platypus, made our visit much better. She also introduced us to ruby chocolate, which was a wonderful surprise.
Although two guests dropped their phones on Puffing Billy despite Lorraine's repeated warnings, she remained calm and helped them throughout.

Must-see attractions in Melbourne!!! The actual experience is amazing, definitely a rare memory. If possible, it is recommended to book this ticket half a year in advance. We booked it half a year in advance. If you can wish for good weather, that would be great. We drove there ourselves, and there is a parking lot nearby. Be careful not to park randomly. Melbourne traffic regulations are very strict. It is recommended to arrive early to exchange tickets. There is a souvenir shop at the ticket exchange counter. There are toilets inside. Then you can take pictures. When the time comes, the train will start running. A lot of locals will wave and say hello along the way. After arriving at the destination, there is a cafe and a souvenir shop. Some of the products inside are not available at the entrance. Then it's time to return to the starting point. This kind of itinerary is enough to fully experience the steam train. Be careful not to wear white clothes as much as possible, because the carriages closer to the front will have coal dust floating over!
