Review Scooter & Motorbike Rental in Bali

I saw the 6:00 PM show. I recommend making a reservation in advance, as there are capacity limits depending on the time slot. I watched it a second time. Since I had read about the content beforehand, I was able to understand it and enjoyed the viewing experience. Even with a prior reservation, I still had to purchase a separate entrance ticket for Uluwatu Temple. It seems the Indonesian government is trying to get money from foreigners, as all prices have increased. However, I love Indonesian culture, so it can't be helped.

I encountered no issue picking up or returning the motorbike. Motorbike is a bit old, but it is in good condition and the engine is strong enough to waddle along the hill or rough road in Bali.

Asking the car rental company to deliver the car to the Sanur Hotel is much more time-saving and convenient than searching for a rental car under the sun, and you don't have to be fooled. Although it costs an extra 50,000 Indonesian rupiah, it is only NT$100, which is definitely worth it. The return location can also be changed according to your itinerary, which is convenient and time-saving. I rented a HONDA Scoopy for four days and rode more than 300 kilometers to Nusa Dua, KUTA, Sanur, Ubud, Mount Batur, Besakih Temple, etc. Although the bike is not new, it is still very powerful. It cost more than 1,000 yuan. The meter-high volcano scenic spot is also easily accessible. I think it is not a big problem to get around the island. I encountered too many traffic jams while riding. I am glad that I rented a motorcycle to avoid the traffic jam. The traffic jams in Bali are too severe. Traffic jams will make you unable to master your itinerary or even miss your flight. The scooter worked perfectly—we traveled from Seminyak to Uluwatu and Ubud without any issues. A nice bonus was the helmet, which smelled like perfume upon received! Also, they didn’t ask for a cash deposit, just a passport for verification, which made the process even smoother.

The rental process went very smoothly. The motorbike was brought to my hotel, and the person in charge kept in touch with me on WhatsApp from the time of my advance notice until the time of return, so I had no worries at all. In Thailand, there are many places that will rent out a motorbike without showing an international driver's license, but here, as a matter of course, you have to show your international motorbike driver's license in advance, so in that respect too, it was a reliable company. Thanks to this, I was able to enjoy touring Bali. One thing to note is that there is no system of returning the motorbike with a full tank of gas like in Japan, so it's a good idea to check the amount of gas remaining before riding (^^)

Just a heads up, if you choose to return the vehicle at the airport, you'll need to confirm arrangements with the service staff in advance, as they have specific requirements and instructions. Also, some mountain roads in Bali are not in great condition, so you may want to assess your riding ability before deciding to rent a vehicle.

I have had a good experience with this deal. Old motobike but works well, convenient delivery and return service, reasonable price.
